Flooring Installation in Northern Colorado

Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, laminate, and carpet, installed over a subfloor that has been properly prepared.

Most flooring problems are subfloor problems. Squeaks, hollow spots, cracked tile, and planks that separate usually trace back to what was under the floor when it went down.

We install and refinish floors throughout Northern Colorado, on their own or as part of a larger remodel, and we spend the time on preparation that makes the finished floor last.

Flooring we install

  • Solid and engineered hardwood
  • Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
  • Porcelain and ceramic tile
  • Laminate flooring
  • Carpet
  • Hardwood sanding and refinishing
  • Epoxy and coated garage floors
  • Subfloor repair and leveling

Choosing a floor for Colorado

The Front Range is dry, and indoor humidity swings between summer and winter. Solid hardwood moves with those swings, which is why we let it acclimate in the house before installation and why engineered hardwood is often a better fit over basements and slabs.

Luxury vinyl plank handles water and pets well and is the most common choice for basements, kitchens, and rentals. Tile is the right answer for showers, mudrooms, and anywhere that gets wet daily.

Common questions

Can you install flooring over a basement slab?

Yes. We check the slab for moisture and flatness first, then recommend a product suited to concrete, which is usually luxury vinyl plank, tile, or engineered wood.

Do you move furniture and remove the old floor?

Yes. Removal, disposal, and furniture moving can all be included in the scope. We spell out what is included in writing.

Can my existing hardwood be refinished instead of replaced?

Often it can. Solid hardwood can usually be sanded and refinished several times. We look at the wear layer and any damage before recommending either route.
